My First Guzheng Lesson

Today is my first guzheng lesson....not too bad. I also rent a guzheng home to practice and it seems like my hubby more fascinated with it than me. He spent whole nite playing it while i was playing pc game. Maybe he should be the one taking lesson. Hmmm.....wanna swap?

My first time cooking Kung Po Chicken...not bad leh. Hubby loves it so much. 
Recipe for the sauce:
1) 10 stalks dried chillies
2 1/2 tbs chilli sauce
3) 1 1/2 tbs black vinegar
4) 1 tbs oyster sauce
5) 1/2 tbs soya sauce
6) 1 tbs sugar
Stir fry the dried chillies until it turns darks red......pour in all the sauce and cook till thick.

I was clearing some of the folders in my office pc when i came across some long forgotten photos of pea when he was not more than 4 months old. Cute isn't he??

2nd Trip to Kuala Selangor

We went to Kuala Selangor again with Wong and another fren. We had a great time eating and shopping for fish. Weather is cool and breezy due to the thunderstorm. I enjoyed most when the boat came back with their catch!! I guess am more happier than the fishermen..

After checking out from the hotel....we headed to Ipoh Old Town for breakfast before heading up to Cameron Highlands to get 'Pearl Sweetcorns'.

Food food....here we come!!

|
Hubby and I together with 2 other frens went to Ipoh for the weekend. Main purpose of course is for FOOD!!! First stop was Tanjung Tualang for prawns...yummmzz. It was such a satisfying lunch and a great way to start the trip. Next, we went to Clearwater Sanctuary Golf & Country Resort for a cup of coffee. Didn't take any pic here cos nothing special. Then checked in hotel to take a quick shower before going to Bercham for dinner. Yummzzz...another satisfying dinner.

Upset...my hermit's previous home got intruders leh. LIZARDS!! Grrrrrr......so now i bought a new home for them, a plastic aquarium with a cover! Now they have more space to walk around. Also bought 2 more hemits since 6 is my lucky number.

Hubby cooked oink oink's leg vinegar yesterday for tonite's dinner. According to him, it tastes better if left overnite, so self-control and discipline is very crucial here in order for us not to finish it the night itself.
It was really good......2nd best i have tasted. 1st was my mum's....which i couldn't remember how it tasted already but then i know it was really delicious. Hubby also admitted my mum's is the best!!!!

Tree Climbing Hermit

I bought a new dish bowl for my hermit. Comes with 2 plastic coconut trees in the middle. Hubby said Ah Tai sure would love to climb on it. True enough, and managed to caught him in action.
