Papa suggested why not teach pea to grab newspaper and pass to us? So i folded the paper and stuffed it into Pea's mouth. Problem is, he refused to give it back to us. Hahaha..ended up with his tiny teethmarks all over the paper and his saliva too. Eeewww...

Woke up feeling fresh and energetic. Not a single sign given that i will fall sick today. Grr...of all days...i hate falling sick on weekends...grrr. But i guess nothing i could do to fight against my body system. Anyway...at least i have a fruitful half day today. Morning we went to try out this place near the Taman Bahagia LRT station selling pork noodle recommended by one of the bloggers. We went there at 9 a.m. but it turned out that they only start selling at 9.30a.m. So for that half an hour, we just stared at him getting his stall ready for business. By 9.20 a.m. he was all ready but he refused to cook until 9.30 a.m. So stuck-up. Anyway...no big deal...we find the pork noodle at Kepong much nicer. Definately won't come back for this kind of service and price.

DeepaRaya Feast - Part I (The Food)
My dear Muslim and Hindu colleagues cooked a big feast for the whole office today. The training room has been converted for this deeparaya potluck party which is the first time we ever organise for the office. I guess better take photos of the food before we attack it.

My New Camera
My old camera is too old...so the repairman told me Kodak doesn't have the spare parts anymore...so asked me to try my luck in KL. I asked if got parts, how much would that cost? About half the price of getting a new camera. Aiyoyoyoyo. Might as well get new one ler. After reading all the user reviews online as well as to a few camera shop, finally we selected this Pentax Camera. A user gave it a 9/10 and another 8/10...and i loves the function. Even got special mode to take FOOD AND PET!!!! Ooohh....they have some cute frames too. So whole day i was experimenting the camera..and some of the results are as posted. Nice?

Paul's friend brought us to this place in Hulu Langat for dinner. According to him, he doesn't take tilapia fish anywhere else except this place. And no kidding when he said this restaurant is in the jungle. Hahaha.....armed with my dad's 'not-so-good' camera, we went to try out this place. Not bad not bad.....the tilapia fish cooked in claypot is indeed very smooth and sweet and no mud taste.

Tasty Fish Ball Noodle
Mine..it's all mine!
Boss, one more bowl minus the noodle pls!
Food hunting again...this time went to try another highly recommended place...Fish Ball Noodle at Section 17 foodcourt. The foodcourt is behind the market along the Jalan Universiti. Well..am not a fan of fish but anyway just give it a try to see how good it is. The fish ball is really good!!!! And the fish cake....thumbs up!!! So home-made feel, definately not the 'wet-market' quality! There are also some pork lard sprinkle on the noodle. Yummies!!! Unhealthy but so tasty!
Definately will visit again soon. OOoo.....for dessert, just walk across the road for Cendol. Sedap!

Met with with my god-sis for dinner ...decided to try the highly recommended place called Farmland Steamboat Porridge at Jalan Pudu. Not bad, something new but i think i can even do it on my own. Will get big prawns, clams, promprets and crabs during my next trip to Kuala Selangor and then make my own porridge steamboat. Wahhh...
p.s..Sorry for the picture quality. My camera not fixed yet so am using my hubby's Nokia N70.

Some of the photos are a bit blur cos taken using my hubby's camera phone. My camera spoilt on the first day ....
